Schueco India inaugurates it’s India Welcome Forum in Delhi NCR—A celebration of innovation, sustainability, and luxury in architecture

To mark this new chapter, Schueco hosted its India Welcome Forum at the state-of-the-art Schueco Experience Centre in Delhi NCR. The event brought together leading architects, designers, and industry professionals to celebrate the future of sustainable, luxurious design.

The evening began with a ceremonial ribbon-cutting and Diya lighting, honouring Indian traditions. Led by Mr. Shyam Raghunandan, Managing Director of Schueco India, and distinguished international delegates—CEO and Managing Partner Schueco International KG und OTTO FUCHS KG Mr. Andreas Engelhardt, Group CFO Mr. Philipp Neuhaus, Executive Vice President International Metal Division Mr. Matthijs Bruijnse, and Head of Technology and Product Solutions & Executive Vice President Metal Business Mr. Hendrik Pahlsmeyer—this ceremony set the tone for an inspiring evening dedicated to redefining the boundaries of design and architecture.

This was followed by a felicitation ceremony where Mr. Shyam Raghunandan presented certificates to the Schueco team, recognising their contributions to the company. Guests engaged in networking sessions and a walkthrough of the Schueco Experience Centre, which showcases the brand’s cutting-edge solutions, seamlessly blending technology, sustainability, and design excellence to redefine modern architecture.

Björn Rettig, CEO of BurdaLuxury (Asia & India), delivered a compelling keynote address, emphasising the importance of innovation in today’s architectural landscape. “Schueco has always been at the forefront of redefining design possibilities, and this forum is a testament to their vision for sustainable luxury,” he shared.

The highlight of the evening was the panel discussion on “A Paradigm Shift in Design: How Sustainable Design is Redefining Opulence.” Moderated by Editor of Architecture+Design Seema Sreedharan, the panel featured renowned architects and designers, including Karl Wadia, Hardesh Chawla, Aparna Kaushik, Princess Adishree Singh, and Monica Chaudhary. The discussion explored the evolving intersection of luxury and sustainability in design, offering valuable insights into emerging trends and client expectations.

Speaking about Schueco’s journey, Mr. Shyam Raghunandan said, “Schueco’s vision anywhere in the world, is to create outstanding buildings. In India, given the diversity across all states, the opportunity for design is tremendous. Sustainability and innovation are at the core of everything we do, and we are excited to bring these values to the Indian market.”

The evening concluded with a vibrant networking session for architects, fostering meaningful connections and discussions about the future of design. The Schueco India Welcome Forum marks a significant chapter in the brand’s journey, reflecting its dedication to creating sustainable, luxurious, and cutting-edge architectural solutions tailored to the needs of the Indian market.
