Shaped by the sea: How Chennai’s coastline inspired every corner of this 5,000 sq ft penthouse by Palindrome Spaces

High above Chennai’s bustling streets, this 5,000-square-foot penthouse by Palindrome Spaces sits like a pearl in an oyster—rare, polished and profoundly influenced by its surroundings. With the ocean as its muse, this home captures the ebb and flow of coastal living and the deep-rooted rhythm of South Indian heritage. Perched atop a high-rise, it’s a home in the clouds, halfway into the ocean (at least it looks like one from within).

Every detail sings of intentionality—warm, earthy hues that mirror the landscape and intricate woodwork that carries whispers of timeworn heritage homes.
