In between raw and rust, far from the humdrum of the city yet close enough to access its facilities, this villa by Crenovate Designers on the outskirts of Hyderabad is where one would want to wake up every day. Nestled in the lap of nature’s embrace, mornings here are all about tender sunlight and melodious chirp.
Positioned one level above the road, the entrance on the lower floor opens into a formal lounge and a study adorned with statement furniture and ambient lighting. Here, a strategically placed roof cutout floods the space with daylight, illuminating a courtyard lush with tropical greenery—seamlessly integrating indoors with outdoors
As one ascends to the main floor, a sense of openness and connection defines the space. The kitchen and dining areas have been thoughtfully merged, with their division marked by a natural teak wood sliding partition adorned with fluted glass. This architectural choice enhances the flow of natural light from the east-facing dining area.
The kitchen features pastel green PU-finished cabinetry complemented by brass-toned handles. A deliberate decision to avoid excessive storage resulted in the inclusion of open wooden shelves with brass accents. The dining room, considered the heart of the villa, is framed by views of the backyard. It showcases a natural teakwood table and wicker chairs, alongside a hand-painted pichwai in turquoise. Abundant natural light and a meticulously crafted layout define this dining space.
Adjacent to the dining room is the living room, anchored by a dusty pink L-shaped lounger adorned with brass details. Grey armchairs and an exquisitely crafted bone inlay coffee table against a white fluted wall serve as the room’s focal point.
Each of the four rooms has been crafted to reflect its inhabitant’s unique taste and personality, from luxurious master suites to colorful kids’ and guest bedrooms adorned with hand-painted wallpapers. Every space tells a story of bespoke design.
Indeed, what sets this villa apart is its bespoke approach to design. Every detail, from lighting fixtures to rugs and furniture, has been custom-selected, resulting in a home that is not just aesthetically pleasing but deeply personalised.
