Pretzels, distinguished by their iconic knot shape and rich variety of flavors, offer a truly delightful culinary experience. Revered across Europe for their versatility, these treats are now celebrated in Hyderabad at the newly opened Prezmo. Here, you can savor an impressive selection of pretzels—ranging from savory to sweet—paired with exceptional coffee and a tempting array of continental dishes.
The journey begins in the café’s outdoor area on the ground floor, a peaceful oasis adorned with rich greens and soft, neutral tones of sage, terracotta, and beige. This space is sheltered by a double-height fabricated structure, enhancing the area’s openness while ensuring that the views from the first-floor indoor seating remain unobstructed.
As you enter, you are greeted by a striking entry door featuring a fluid aluminium design in sage green, setting the tone for the cafe’s aesthetic. Inside, the connection between the curved ceiling and the L-shaped patisserie counter immediately captures your attention. The counter boasts a textured fluted beige base, with elegant curves in light terracotta and grey, creating a sense of fluidity. A green backsplash tile on the counter’s back wall introduces the brand colors, ensuring a cohesive visual impact.
From the patisserie counter, your gaze is drawn to the intricately designed staircase. The vibrant, colorful railing complements the surrounding décor, while patterns in sage and terracotta reflect the designs on the custom shot-blasted tiles. A gently curved wall screens the wood-fired pizza oven station, leading you naturally towards the staircase.
On the first floor, the lush green theme continues in the seating area, which features two round seating elements surrounded by potted plants. The space is defined by diagonal concrete tiles that extend onto the ceiling, adding a dramatic touch. Table tops made from wood, terrazzo, and white marble contrast beautifully with the grey flooring. Colored concrete lights and lime plaster finishes in beige and terracotta add depth and warmth to the environment.
The design of Prezmo was guided by a brief to create a spacious outdoor seating area surrounded by greenery, with minimalistic interiors. This brief influenced the design’s focus on greenery and simplicity.
The café’s theme incorporates fluid shapes and abstract representations of the brand’s logo, seamlessly integrated into the ceiling and patisserie counter designs. Custom shot-blasted concrete tiles, featuring abstract patterns and the Prezmo logo, enhance the brand’s identity and add a personalized touch to the space.
Materials, textures, and colors are harmoniously blended throughout the café. The ground floor includes high chairs as a waiting area, offering a picturesque view through a large panoramic window. The minimal design, combined with lush greenery and soft lighting, creates a calm and inviting space.
The neutral-toned flooring serves as a versatile base, complemented by table tops in wood, terrazzo, and white marble. Coloured concrete lights and beige and terracotta lime plaster finishes add richness, with green and sage hues subtly reinforcing the brand identity.
The ground floor patisserie, connecting the outdoor and first-floor indoor spaces, stands out as a central feature. It reflects the project’s cohesive design and aesthetic vision.

The design ethos emphasizes minimalism, subtle details, and abundant greenery, aligning with the designer’s personal style. The café’s unique feature is the seamless integration of three distinct spaces, each flowing naturally into the next through a consistent use of materials and design elements.
