The space exudes a sense of quiet grandeur. Defined by graceful symmetry and an inviting sense of ease, this Delhi office is a modern marriage between classic aesthetics and contemporary sensibilities. This is a balance that Architect Aparna Kaushik never fails to create in all her projects. In the fast-paced and dynamic realm of office design, crafting the perfect image and impression is paramount. Every element, from the corporate identity to the workspace, must reflect sophistication, professionalism and a clear brand message. The new corporate office of Media Milestone, New Delhi-based niche boutique Media and Public Relations agency with expertise in the storied world of luxury architecture, interior design, home decor and lifestyle, is a reflection of all this.
Symmetry begins with the layout of the space and is constructed on the idea of central axis because of its ability to convey balance and order, especially relevant where the goal is to maintain equilibrium and precision in every aspect of communication. “We truly appreciate the vision of Aparna Kaushik, (Founder-Architect, Aparna Kaushik Design Group), for the space. We are in love with the timeless appeal of the interiors,” say Deep and Seema Gupta, Co-Founders of Media Milestone.
The visual impact is immediate, it signifies an organised and confident approach. This spatial harmony continues into the workspace, with rows of desks on either side following a symmetrical pattern. The design fosters collaboration, creates a sense of unity among team members and provides a visually pleasing atmosphere for clients and employees alike. The colour palette, dominated by pastel pinks, rich grays and taupe, exudes sophistication.
To infuse the space with depth and meaning, the designer chooses a unique theme, “Contemporary Classicism”, a blend of timeless elegance and modern sophistication. It mirrors Media Milestone’s ability to seamlessly navigate between tradition and innovation, crafting narratives that stand the test of time. “The theme is a true reflection of our own beliefs. While you see contemporary classicism all around, we have done away with the typical heavy desk and chairs that you usually see in offices. We wanted sleek and modern desks for us,” say Deep and Seema Gupta. The Directors’ desks are on either sides of the elegantly designed fireplace.
The furniture, custom designed by Beyond Designs, blends sumptuous materials like leather, wood and metal in a contemporary style. Overall, the decor follows clean and classic lines. Lights by Luxaddi impart the quintessential classical touch, while the wall mirror by Renovation Factory is a charming addition. Décor accessories by Maison
by Nirmals and cushions by Mirooh add the most refined final touches.
Throughout the office, from the reception area to the private workspaces, the theme reinforces a sense of purpose, poise and timelessness. The pantry and storage units of the workspace are concealed, which furthers the design language and makes the spaces look clutter-free with clean lines. Where perception often shapes reality, this office becomes a symbol of excellence — a profound expression of the elegance, balance and branding that define the industry.
