Crafted as a refined yet personal sanctuary, this penthouse by Studio Amaavi is a confluence of minimalism and warmth

In the heart of J.P. Nagar, Bengaluru, stands ‘Sitara’, a remarkable 4,500 sq ft penthouse that showcases the perfect marriage of contemporary elegance and functional design. The project, helmed by Studio Amaavi’s founding designers Kalyani Tare and Nihaal Moosa, transforms two separate apartments into a unified space that speaks volumes about modern luxury living.

Luxury Meets Functionality

The journey through this exquisite home unfolds with an air of quiet grandeur. As you step inside, the first thing that catches your eye is the spacious living room, where soft neutral tones create a canvas for carefully chosen statement pieces. A plush green sectional sofa paired with a rust-orange armchair adds warmth to the space, while a cluster of ring chandeliers draws the eye upward, creating a dramatic yet harmonious atmosphere.

A Home That Reflects Personality and Purpose

A secondary lounge area, featuring elegant white curved sofas and fluted wall panels, offers a more intimate setting for quiet conversations. This attention to varying social needs continues into the open-plan kitchen and dining area, where matte black cabinets and marble surfaces create a sophisticated culinary space.

The bedrooms unfold as sanctuaries of peace and indulgence. The primary suite features a tufted winged headboard against a backdrop of dark-hued fluted panels, accented by deep blue and neutral linens. Beside the bed, a sculptural pendant light illuminates a sleek side table adorned with curated décor. The ensuite bathroom continues this theme of quiet luxury, boasting a double vanity with integrated marble sinks, sleek bronze hardware, and large mirrors that amplify the sense of space. Even the guest bathroom, with its textured marble vanity and gold accents, proves that compact spaces can exude grandeur.

Throughout the home, art plays a defining role. Hallways double as galleries, featuring bold abstract pieces and sculptural consoles, seamlessly integrating personality into the design. The residence also embraces pet-friendly design, with thoughtful furniture selections that cater to the clients’ furry companion without compromising on style.

Innovative Design Features

One of the project’s most innovative features is the integration of the air conditioning system with magnetic track lighting—a technical achievement that eliminates the need for traditional duct vents while maintaining the clean, minimalist aesthetic. This solution exemplifies Studio Amaavi’s approach to solving design challenges without compromising on style.

Redefining Contemporary Living

What sets this project apart is its attention to practical details while maintaining its luxurious appeal. The design team incorporated pet-friendly features and durable materials throughout the space, ensuring that the home would be both beautiful and livable. Energy-efficient LED lighting, water-saving fixtures, and locally sourced materials add a sustainable dimension to the luxury quotient.

Sitara is the personification to the philosophy that luxury should be lived in, not merely admired. Studio Amaavi has engineered a space that speaks of sophistication, comfort, and personal expression. This penthouse redefines contemporary living, offering a sanctuary where every detail is intentional, every space is meaningful, and every corner tells a story.
