‘Coffee, with a Dash of Cream’: A haven of elegance crafted by Design Boulevard

Nestled on the 17th floor, where the skyline of Old Bengaluru unfolds its timeless charm, stands a 3000 sq. ft. apartment transformed into a haven of elegance by the skilled hands of Design Boulevard. In response to the simple query about the one thing they desired in their space, the answer was effortlessly clear – a coffee bar.

“For her, the love affair with Nespresso became the inspiration for a cosy haven on the balcony, a place to curl up with a good read and savor a near-perfect brew, overlooking the cityscape,” share the design duo Komal Menda & Muzamil Hasham.

The coffee bar, a shining gem in brown and copper cladding, resembles a perfectly roasted coffee bean, inviting one to grind and savor the essence of a rich brew. This warmth extends seamlessly into the common lounge, a visual symphony of plush whites, creams, beiges, and browns, enveloping the space in an aura of luxury. The neutral palette not only caters to the present but also holds the promise of future transformations, keeping design possibilities open.

In the pursuit of functionality, Design Boulevard introduced a character-defining element – mahogany wood panels framing the common area. Like a cinnamon-flavored cappuccino, these panels add a punch of personality to the subdued ambiance, creating a spatial attribute that captures attention.

The design journey continues with a copper mirror ceiling that elegantly links the main living area to the master bedroom, creating a seamless connection across the home. Concealing ACUs behind trap doors, this ceiling not only serves a practical purpose but also imparts an illusion of added height to the corridor below, enhancing the overall aesthetic.

Transforming a typical 3BHK into a spacious 2BHK, Design Boulevard’s expertise shines in the modifications made for the newlywed couple’s master bedroom. A designated walk-in wardrobe, seamlessly integrated with a lavish master bath, adds a touch of opulence. Private spaces are intelligently partitioned by a monolith TV unit, creating a dynamic layer between the sleeping area and the home office. Here, the husband charts out his day, creating a perfect blend of privacy and functionality.

‘Coffee, with a Dash of Cream’ is not just a residence; it’s a testament to Design Boulevard’s ability to blend comfort, functionality, and aesthetics into a luxurious symphony, creating a home that transcends time and trends.
