Co.So by Design Konstruct in Nagpur is worth bookmarking for this weekend

In the bustling landscape of Nagpur’s culinary scene, restaurants are more than just places to dine—they are vibrant hubs where culture, cuisine and community converge. Among these, Co.So (Cocktails & Socials), crafted by Misbah Kapadia of Design Konstruct, emerges as a serene oasis that seamlessly blends nature’s tranquility with sophisticated design.

The concept behind Co.So is rooted in creating an ambiance that resonates with the calming beauty of a lush garden while maintaining an air of refinement. Every detail within its walls reflects a thoughtful approach to design, ensuring that guests are enveloped in a warm and inviting atmosphere from the moment they step inside.

Upon entry, the lobby immediately sets a welcoming tone with its cozy, natural ambiance. Earthy textures and rustic elements blend seamlessly, accompanied by an Indian patent stone-finished floor that grounds the space. A wave-curved wall adorned with two-tone texture paint and brass finish signage adds depth and visual interest, while cascading creepers delicately veil fire pipes, adding a whimsical touch to the entrance. An oversized carved wooden door beckons visitors further into an experience defined by comfort and sophistication.

Moving into the indoor area, the theme of natural elegance continues with Indian patent stone-finished flooring and subtle, earthy prints. Low-height molded paneling and two-tone wall textures enrich the ambiance, setting the stage for a seamless flow between indoor and outdoor spaces. A white trellis with a glass partition not only divides but also integrates the areas, enhancing the feeling of an outdoor-inspired oasis within. The bar, a focal point of the indoor space, blends materials such as stone-fronted counters topped with wood, complemented by a glass window and wooden shelves. This meticulous design ensures a balance of textures and functionality, while plush seating arrangements and curated decor elements contribute to a cozy, inviting atmosphere.

Stepping into the outdoor area reveals a picturesque scene of rustic elegance. Cobblestone-look tiles underfoot impart a natural charm, complemented by a dip-cut design on compound walls that adds visual intrigue. A spiral staircase crowned with a floral-cut acrylic roof not only provides functional access but also serves as a striking architectural feature. The outdoor space seamlessly extends the indoor ambiance with white-tone textured walls, ensuring continuity and enhancing the overall sense of tranquility. Wooden rafters adorned with hanging pots and intricate rope details add to the rustic appeal, creating a perfect setting for socializing amidst natural beauty.

For those seeking a more intimate dining experience, Co.So offers a private dining area designed to evoke the comforts of home amidst the serenity of nature. Unique touches such as pebble flooring, deep-cushioned sofas, and bespoke wooden furniture create an atmosphere that is both cozy and refined. Handcrafted lanterns and bamboo supports further enhance the rustic charm, making this space ideal for gatherings that celebrate both camaraderie and culinary delights.

Misbah Kapadia’s vision, brought to life through Design Konstruct, has created a space where every corner tells a story.
