The design solution is minimalist yet playful, balancing bold colours with neutrals. A striking private lobby welcomes guests into the home, featuring luxurious touches of leatherite and brass. Red and black accents are carefully integrated throughout the space, adding vibrant energy to the crisp white backdrop. On the right, a stylish console table is set against a large circular hammered-brass element mounted on a wall paneled in wood, brass, and white acrylic. Circular mirrors along the passage enhance the sense of spaciousness, leading to a visually striking foyer.

The foyer is highlighted by six Claymen sculptures by artist Aman Khanna, arranged in a pyramid on the wall in various earthy tones. Below, a wooden console table with a feature leg striped in black and white adds a quirky touch. Across from the console, a clever design solution discreetly hides two distribution boards behind custom artwork that seamlessly blends with the overall aesthetic. Adjacent to the foyer, a serene blue powder room can be accessed before stepping into the main living area.

The expansive living and dining space is the heart of Crimson Paradise, unified by shades of red that feature prominently in the upholstery and cabinetry. The TV wall and bar counter are crafted from Italian marble, creating a glamorous focal point for entertaining guests. Touches of gold, including a chrome mirror behind the bar and a 7-foot piping frame around the counter, elevate the space. The minimalist metal shelving in the bar area complements the black accents, while a quirky quote above the bar adds character.

The kitchen follows the apartment’s colour scheme but stands out with a bold splash of Pantone’s Colour of the Year 2024, Peachy Fuzz. A chalkboard wall next to the refrigerator adds a personalised touch to this vibrant space.

As one transitions from the common areas to the bedrooms, each room offers a private retreat, reflecting the individuality of the family members. The master bedroom is cleverly divided into distinct sections for sleeping and lounging, maximizing the utility of the space. Arches, angular silhouettes, and curves contribute to the room’s dynamic design, with a study corner incorporated by the window to accommodate the family’s work-from-home needs. The bed appears to float on a platform, while the room’s neutral pastels, hints of black, and soft greys provide a calming contrast to the vibrant common areas. Ample storage, a stand-alone dresser, and a hidden storage feature behind the dressing mirror add functionality.

The guest bedroom continues the peachy theme from the kitchen, with soft highlights over a muted base. The standout feature here is a playful bookshelf that combines storage with artistic flair, using half-arches and slats to create a dynamic display unit that echoes the curves of the wardrobe doors.

The third bedroom, designed for a teenage boy passionate about basketball, embraces a playful theme. Basketball-inspired elements, including wallpaper, a leatherite wall hanging in the shape of a basketball, and a themed decal, add youthful energy. A quirky blue shelf accompanies a desk positioned along the wall, while a seating-cum-storage unit spans the length of the window.

Crimson Paradise is a warm and welcoming home that skillfully balances individual expression with a cohesive design language. By incorporating diverse colours, shapes and textures, Storey Tellers Design Studio has crafted a personalised yet unified space that beautifully reflects the unique personalities of its inhabitants.
