Essentia Home’s journey in redefining luxury interiors took a bold new step as it opened its flagship store in Delhi’s Design District on MG Road. Following the success of its Gurugram store, the brand celebrated this milestone with an exclusive evening on March 21, hosted in collaboration with Architecture + Design magazine. The event brought together over 100 of the country’s top architects and design leaders, transforming the launch into a night of immersive experiences, inspiring conversations, and a showcase of global design excellence.

The five-level, 20,000 sq. ft. flagship store unfolded like a meticulously curated exhibition, where each space embodied a seamless blend of global sophistication and Indian craftsmanship. As industry stalwarts explored the collections, it became evident that Essentia Home had created more than just a store—it had set the stage for an evolution in luxury interiors.
Founded by Hardesh and Monica Chawla, the visionary duo behind Essentia Environments, the brand’s expansion into Delhi marks a new chapter in their 25-year legacy of refined design. Hridik Chawla, spearheading the Essentia Home Experience Center, welcomed guests into this immersive world, offering a curated walkthrough of the collections, where furniture, technology, and craftsmanship coalesced effortlessly. Sculptural statement pieces, handcrafted soft furnishings, state-of-the-art kitchens, luxury vanities, and an exclusive selection of Rimadesio panellings, wardrobes, and architectural systems transformed the showroom into a dynamic expression of contemporary living.

One of the evening’s most anticipated moments was the grand unveiling of Rimadesio’s exclusive showcase—the largest in India—spanning the entire ground floor of the store. The Italian brand, celebrated for its precision-engineered wardrobes, sliding doors, and architectural systems, found its perfect synergy within the Essentia Home experience. “Rimadesio’s precision, muted aesthetics, and superior craftsmanship perfectly align with our design ethos. Bringing this brand to North India in an immersive way is a milestone for Essentia Home,” said Hardesh Chawla, reflecting on the brand’s strategic collaboration.

Beyond unveiling new collections, the evening was a celebration of design’s global language. Guests engaged with Essentia Home’s curated collaborations with some of the world’s most renowned designers, including Sara Sbolgi & Marco Ferriani from Florence, Vincent Mazenauer from Switzerland, Ahmad Bazazo from Beirut, Luis Gimeno from Barcelona, Maison Toukkani from Switzerland, Tomaya Studio from Tel Aviv, Anna Ignatenko from Moscow, and Anda_ba, an India-London-based design studio. From sculptural dining tables crafted from Indian-origin stone to avant-garde furniture and decor, the event was a testament to Essentia Home’s commitment to pushing creative boundaries.
As guests navigated through the store, each space unfolded like a sensory narrative. The sculptural living and dining areas, automated bedrooms, designer kitchens, and outdoor sanctuaries transported visitors into a world where art, technology, and craftsmanship coexisted in perfect harmony. Signature Essentia fragrances filled the air, accentuating the immersive experience with a touch of olfactory luxury.

“Essentia Home is not just about furniture—it’s about an entire lifestyle experience. With our expansive collections spanning furniture, soft furnishings, fragrances, and decor, we aim to make high design and impeccable craftsmanship more accessible to discerning clients,” said Hridik Chawla, encapsulating the brand’s philosophy.

With this landmark event, Essentia Home has cemented its position as a leader in contemporary luxury interiors. The collaboration with Architecture + Design magazine brought together some of the brightest minds in the industry, fostering dialogue, inspiration, and a glimpse into the future of interior design in India. For architects, designers, and design aficionados, the new flagship store is more than just a destination—it is a living, breathing showcase of global sensibilities and Indian craftsmanship, seamlessly intertwined.
