Nestled amidst lush greenery, ACE Associates designed a captivating weekend villa in Gujarat for Mr. Kushal Bhatt and Mrs. Richa Bhatt. The architects seamlessly integrated the existing mango, chikoo, and coconut plantations into the layout, providing an enchanting panorama that connects the built spaces with nature.
Inspiration and Concept:
The design inspiration stemmed from the natural beauty surrounding the site, emphasizing the preservation of existing plantations. The layout was strategically crafted to offer picturesque views of green fields from every angle, fostering a visual interaction with nature throughout the villa.
Homeowners and Personal Touch:
Owned by Mr. Kushal Bhatt, a real estate developer, and Mrs. Richa Bhatt, the villa exudes their joyful and positive nature. The couple sought a luxurious getaway with separate spaces for various activities. Having explored ACE Associates’ portfolio, they trusted the architects’ passion for landscape, art, and architecture.
Décor and Aesthetic Harmony:
The villa’s décor reflects the architect’s passion for authentic antique art and furniture. Handpicked pieces from various artisans adorn the spaces, creating a cohesive theme. Flooring, walls, and textures harmonize with the respective areas, utilizing an accented color palette indoors and a nature-inspired one outdoors.
Entrance & Garden Level:
The entrance to this enchanting villa is marked by a gazebo nestled beneath the shade of a dense mango tree, providing a warm and inviting welcome. Rustic stone cladding walls, adorned with antique columns, enhance the sensory experience, guiding residents and guests along a passage bordered by lush plantations. The lower level unveils a sprawling green bed, ideal for hosting grand gatherings, while a strategically placed guest cottage in the northeast corner ensures privacy amidst the verdant surroundings.
Upper Level:
Ascend to the upper level through the captivating “Entrance to the Heaven,” an architectural marvel that utilizes vibrant blue hues, antique elements, and a profusion of exotic sculptures. The living pavilion, with its pitched roof structure, unfolds a palatial theme, featuring antique furniture and décor meticulously curated to echo a bygone era. A semi-covered gazebo, adorned with reclaimed furniture and a Natraj Panch Dhatu Murti, offers an elegant space overlooking the swimming pool. Another isolated gazebo, dedicated to guests, reveals reclaimed furniture and a discreetly concealed bar counter, blending seamlessly with elements like door frames and cast iron railings.
Bedrooms:
The bedrooms in this villa are distinctive spaces housed within pitched roof structures. The Harit Kaksh embraces a soothing green palette, while the Aasamami Kaksh immerses itself in a captivating blue theme. Each room narrates a story of heritage through its carefully selected furniture, soft furnishings, and play of light, evoking the opulence of a palace. Built-in bath tubs and closets add a touch of luxury, transforming these spaces into sanctuaries of comfort and style.
Swimming Pool:
The heart of the upper level, the swimming pool serves as a connecting thread, gracefully stitching together the three pavilions. Bordered by a deck adorned with matured coconut trees, the pool area offers a serene retreat with panoramic views, adding a touch of tranquility to this elevated oasis.
Standout Features:
The villa’s classic simplicity, functional layout respecting the existing landscape, and seamless integration of indoor and outdoor spaces stand out. The grandeur of nature, elevated levels of built spaces, and panoramic views make it a unique retreat.
ACE Associates’ weekend villa in Gujarat is not just a residence; it’s a harmonious blend of nature, art, and luxury, providing the Bhatts with a tranquil escape that reflects their vibrant personalities.
