A Grand Design Built for Flexibility and Openness

The design of the Resaiki Panwar Residence is centered around accessibility and openness. The property, designed to be accessible from all sides, features two front entrances, offering both convenience and flexibility. From the moment you approach, the house welcomes you with a sense of vastness, hinting at the journey that unfolds within.

A Journey Across Multiple Levels

The home unfolds across multiple levels, each offering its own sense of discovery and delight. The overarching aim was to create a space that not only embodies the grandeur of a palace but also provides a sanctuary for rest and rejuvenation. The design concept translated the majestic French-inspired elevation into every facet of the interior, ensuring that each room within the home speaks to its grandeur.

Upon stepping through the threshold, the visitor is immediately greeted with palatial volumes and elevated ceilings. The interiors exude a regal atmosphere, evoking a sense of luxury rarely found within the constraints of modern design. Each space is carefully curated to reflect this majestic theme, from the formal living area to the more intimate zones of the home.

A Home Woven with the Threads of Time

Built on a plot of land that carries the weight of over six decades, the Resaiki Panwar Residence is not just a house—it’s a story woven with the essence of time. The design embraces a striking black-and-white color palette, forming the foundation of the 12,000 sq. ft. home. In contrast to this monochrome base, bursts of gold emerge like hidden treasures, providing a contemporary twist to the classical design and lending the home a touch of modern sophistication.

Grand and Versatile Spaces

This three-level home features a grand entrance that leads to a formal living area, a dedicated dining space, and a state-of-the-art kitchen. The basement serves as a versatile entertainment zone, featuring a home theater, gym, and spa—perfect for relaxation and leisure. The upper floors house the bedrooms and bathrooms, designed to cater to the needs of family members, guests, and staff.

The home also boasts a variety of spaces dedicated to relaxation and recreation. Balconies, gathering areas, and a swimming pool are thoughtfully spread across different levels, offering ample opportunities for leisure and reflection.

To prevent visual monotony and elevate the design experience, multiple levels were incorporated into the layout, each serving both aesthetic and functional purposes. Carefully selected elements, such as fluted partitions and bespoke molding details, add a layer of sophistication to the home, imbuing the space with a sense of refined luxury.

Personalised Spaces for Reflection and Relaxation

On the first floor, a library adjacent to the kitchenette reflects the client’s passion for reading, offering a quiet space for intellectual escape. Meanwhile, the master bedroom serves as a striking contrast to the property’s light-toned palette, with its dark hues creating a serene and intimate ambiance. This careful attention to detail in color and design ensures that each room within the house not only serves a functional purpose but also creates an emotional connection with those who inhabit it.

The Resaiki Panwar Residence is much more than a home—it’s an embodiment of timeless elegance and contemporary design. With its French-inspired exteriors, palatial interiors, and a layout that encourages both connection and solitude, the property is a place where history meets modernity, offering a luxurious and thoughtful living experience for all who enter. It’s a residence that tells a story—one of grandeur, sophistication and the passage of time.
