Nestled within the sturdy embrace of time and at the heart of an urban landscape, Ikigai Studio’s Pune office stands as a testament to the power of transformation and design. Entrance: A Prelude to Tranquility

Upon crossing the threshold, visitors are embraced by an outdoor oasis, a serene spot adorned with the company’s emblem and lush planters. This welcoming space not only invites guests but also provides a cosy retreat for the staff during breaks. The sleek black veneer door, flanked by a slatted wooden partition bearing the company logo, sets the tone for what lies beyond. Tucked in a serene corner behind the entrance partition is the Mandir, finished in Arava texture, offering a tranquil retreat within the bustling workspace.

Working Space: A Design Sanctuary

Venturing further, the working space unfolds—a captivating tableau of bespoke design. An 18-foot table, crafted from Indian granite, takes center stage, adorned by elegant pendant lights made from banana leaf paper. The chairs, a fusion of Teak wood and Rattan, epitomize comfort and craftsmanship. Knotted Pachira plants add a touch of greenery, fostering an open and collaborative atmosphere among the team.

Overcoming architectural challenges, the architects introduced a vaulted ceiling, enhancing the workspace’s aesthetic appeal. Large sliding windows bathe the area in natural light, while a neon sign prompts introspection with the question, “What’s your IKIGAI?” The jet-black tiled floor, textured walls, and a profound skirting of 2 feet create a grounded and immersive ambiance.

Cabin: Where Art Meets Functionality

A remarkable piece of art graces the passage, leading to a small pantry and meticulously designed bathroom. A full-height glass partition with slim wooden accents offers a glimpse into the inner sanctum—the cabin. The cabin door, a glass marvel with a 180-degree hinge, emphasizes wheelchair accessibility. Inside, a Panda white Indian marble table takes center stage, complemented by hand-blown glass pendant lights that infuse playfulness. Rattan chairs and an elegant leather chair complete the workspace, surrounded by art, history, and accomplishments framed for posterity.

The commitment to warmth and inviting ambiance permeates every detail. Vintage brass switchboards add character, while state-of-the-art wall fans marry functionality with style. The central space, embodying collaboration and openness, becomes a canvas where creativity knows no bounds.

Conclusion: A Symphony of Creativity and Warmth

Ikigai Studio’s office is more than a physical space; it’s a narrative told through architecture and design. Each element contributes to a symphony of creativity and warmth, seamlessly blending the past with the future. The vintage bungalow has been transformed into an urban oasis—a testament to Ikigai Studio’s commitment to crafting spaces that resonate with the essence of its clients and embrace a legacy of creative storytelling.
