Renowned as Padma Bhushan laureates in cardiology and neonatology, the doctor couple proved to be ideal clients for this venture, their refined tastes aligning effortlessly with the ethos of Serene Abodes.
From design conception to a breathtaking handover, the project took 20 months, during which the team transformed the farmhouse into a haven that perfectly encapsulates the family’s lifestyle. The ground floor boasts formal spaces, including a living room, dining area, bar lounge, library, and a meticulously designed kitchen.
As one enters the farmhouse, a double-height entrance with a spectacular marble inlay pattern on the floor sets the tone for what lies within. The walls adorned with black and white portraits of the “Women of the House” eloquently depict the family’s values and heritage.
The formal living area, strategically positioned to capture panoramic views of the farm, offers multiple cozy nooks where family and friends can gather. The play of sunlight throughout the day adds a dynamic ambiance, creating an inviting atmosphere.
The dining area on the ground floor is bathed in natural light, overlooking a charming porch. Sonakshi’s careful curation of authentic artwork from local artists in the NCR region enhances the aesthetic appeal of the farmhouse.
Transitioning to the first floor, a foyer adorned with hand-woven silk carpets by Serene Abodes makes a captivating statement. The bedrooms, designed with meticulous attention to detail, cater to the unique preferences of each occupant.
