In the heart of Delhi’s prestigious Anand Niketan lies a 5500 sq ft 4-bedroom apartment, a testament to opulent living designed by BA Architecture and Interior Design. With two floors connected by an internal staircase and four bedrooms, this space is designed to speak of luxury while embracing simplicity.
The vision for this project was to infuse elements with a sense of luxury while maintaining simplicity. The primary goal was to create functional spaces with a timeless, simple color palette. White takes center stage, radiating spaciousness, and is paired with accents of beiges and browns, layered with undertones of luxury. Key materials include wood, Italian marble, and brass, with intricate detailing in ceilings and furniture pieces.
While luxury is at the forefront, functionality is not compromised. Each room and space is meticulously designed to cater to the daily routines and needs of the occupants. This perfect balance ensures that aesthetics and practicality coexist seamlessly.
Drawing & Dining:
The spacious drawing and dining room feature luxurious Botticino marble flooring, seamlessly accommodating both a 12-seat dining table and a comfortable drawing area. An abundance of natural light bathes the entire space, fostering a warm and inviting atmosphere. Classic leather sofas, snug armchairs, and a nesting coffee table with a marble surface adorn the drawing room. The dining section showcases an intricate wall mural, paired with mirrored panels on both sides.
The bar display is a tasteful fusion of wood and brass, sporting a triangular fluting on the counter, elegantly topped with white stone. The rear bar, a captivating focal point, houses revolving shelves embellished with illuminated brass discs in each segment.
Family Lounge & Kitchen:
On the same floor, the family lounge is a captivating space, separated from the mandir by a full-height glass block wall. A brown leather sofa and stone-top coffee table add character, while the brass and wood TV unit infuses class and luxury, making it the perfect family retreat.
Adjacent is the 180 sqft. kitchen, boasting a stunning 3×10 foot island counter covered in sleek black granite, creating a timeless centerpiece. The warm hues of browns and beige continue the home’s unified theme, blending utility with classic appeal.
Internal Staircase:
The internal staircase, adorned with wood and glass railing, unites the first and second floors with the terrace. A magnificent double-height chandelier takes center stage, enhancing the opulent and refined atmosphere, with suspended elements placed at varying levels.
Upon entering the upper floor, you are greeted by a stylish TV lounge. A grey sofa against grey walls with wainscotting creates a harmonious monotone impression, drawing attention to the dramatic black and white marble patterned floor.
Master Bedroom:
The master bedroom exudes subdued elegance with a Vanilla onyx marble back wall adorned with brass accents. Teal, brown, and beige soft furnishings add a touch of class. A chaise lounge, two-tone coffee table, and off-white recliner chair complete the image of elegant luxury.
Master Bathroom:
The master bathroom is adorned with stunning white Michelangelo marble, creating an atmosphere of grace and refinement. The spacious shower and an elevated Jacuzzi, provide a perfect place for relaxation. The use of white stone, white laminate, mirrors, and brass accents adds a touch of grandeur to the space.
This residence, a harmonious blend of luxury and simplicity, stands as a testament to thoughtful and functional design. Every element and detail, from the choice of materials to the interplay of light, contributes to an inviting yet grand space.
