The clients often visited Mumbai to catch up with friends & family and the only brief they had for the client was that they wanted this home to be a party pad and exude a perfect Home away from Home vibe. Anu and Prashant Chauhan of ZERO9 had the perfect canvas to play with. “The living room was the show stopper of this apartment with L shaped corner window facing the gorgeous city views from the 76th floor,” informs Prashant Chauhan.
The architects used this canvas to create a perfectly curated look for the space. “We considered the edge of the corner window as the vantage point, the leisure swivel chair gives you the right spot to sink into these unending views and at the same time engage into a conversation within the apartment,” adds Prashant. The Slamp pendant light by Zaha Hadid at the corner of this beautiful window adds a dash of luxury with a visually light design to keep the city views connected. The soda table by Misinforms also follows the similar concept of transparency made in Murano Blown glass.
The custom-made purple couch by Idus with a backdrop of fluted wall, compliments the custom-made tropical rug by Studio Esotery forming a perfect base for the custom made swivel centre table. The Cascade by White Domus with psychedelic reflections of the gorgeous view adds the party vibe to the space. The blank wall on the living room has been smartly used for projections with a concealed Ultra Short throw projector which makes this space a perfect party spot for sporting seasons. The custom-made console in brown mirror by coloured compliments the concealed electric unit clad in brown mirror.
“The kitchen in this apartment is opened up to visually connect with the living room with a chiseled bar as the
catalyst for conversations,” adds Anu Chauhan. The bar holds a wine chiller, a soft drinks fridge and bar cabinets for
holding accessories with a champagne gold finished front. The bar top and kitchen counter is made in white Dekton tile which makes the surface durable for all the spills and stains. The kitchen counter holds an induction hob and a
stylish sink with a backdrop of brown mirror to reflect the fluted wall of living room. The side cabinets also hold a
built-in fridge and freezer apart from the regular drawers for utensils and accessories.
The Arrangements pendant light by FLOS on the bar counter adds a perfect dash of stylish minimalism to this apartment. The Powder toilet displays a gorgeous collection of JJ Valaya tiles by FCML that creates a vibe of its own in this space. Well complimented with a custom-made mirror by Vetromoda and perfectly fitted rose gold sanitary water from Grohe.
The Guest bedroom is a lounge-like space with a full height sliding partition cladded in leather. This space transforms into a bedroom as and when required on a touch of a button with the fabulous custom-made rustic orange sofa-cum bed from Chesterfield. The wardrobe for the guest is kept minimal and functional with leather clad shutters and rose gold metallic trims custom made by Coloured. A custom made vetromoda mirror and free standing dressing table welcomes you into the master bedroom making your way to the master bathroom. Dream Garden series full body tiles from Fondovalle create a dreamy artistic vibe.
The custom made round mirror by vetromoda reflects the shower and steam area of the same bathroom. The master bedroom is a simple yet stylish haven with a custom rug from Javi Homes clad on the wall as an artwork. The Custom-made bed with all green velvet by Coloured also has ample storage beneath for extra beddings and linen. The custom-made side table and wardrobe (by coloured) are leather clad and speak of luxury to another level. A small yet comfortable Leolux Pallone chair with tones of greens makes a perfect corner to enjoy the city views from the bedroom. The apartment is a perfect spot to unwind, amongst the clouds and above the buzzing city life.
