In terms of construction technology, the Chennai Trade Centre incorporates cutting-edge Prefab technology, significantly reducing construction time by 40%. A robust steel structure, spanning an impressive 215 meters by 43 meters, ensures the stability and balance of the exhibition halls. This steel framework offers not only cost-effectiveness but also durability surpassing that of traditional RCC construction. Its ease of erection further streamlines the construction process, eliminating the need for complex RCC beams and columns.

The Chennai Trade Centre holds the distinction of being the first exhibition building in India to achieve a Platinum rating from the Indian Green Building Council (IGBC). This prestigious accolade recognises the complex’s commitment to sustainable architecture and design. From meticulous site selection and planning to the use of environmentally friendly building materials and resources, the Chennai Trade Centre exemplifies a holistic approach to sustainability.
