This spacious hall provides a magnificent setting for a variety of events. Additionally, the complex boasts a stage, a banquet hall, a lounge area, and business and meeting rooms, catering to diverse requirements and ensuring a seamless experience for all visitors. The grandeur of the Chennai Trade Centre is evident from the moment one sets foot in its premises.
The entrance features an expansive open plaza, spanning an impressive 4000 square meters. This unique plaza, with its striking design, sets the tone for what lies ahead—an extraordinary experience awaiting guests within the complex. Embracing the rich architectural heritage of Tamil Nadu, the Chennai Trade Centre showcases a classical style.
Its symmetrical floor plan, aligned along two axes, pays homage to timeless architectural principles. The elevation, reminiscent of Tamil Nadu’s classical style, further enhances the aesthetic appeal of the complex. In terms of construction technology, the Chennai Trade Centre incorporates cutting-edge Prefab technology, significantly reducing construction time by 40%. A robust steel structure, spanning an impressive 215 meters by 43 meters, ensures the stability and balance of the exhibition halls. This steel framework offers not only cost-effectiveness but also durability surpassing that of traditional RCC construction. Its ease of erection further streamlines the construction process, eliminating the need for complex RCC beams and columns.
The Chennai Trade Centre holds the distinction of being the first exhibition building in India to achieve a Platinum rating from the Indian Green Building Council (IGBC). This prestigious accolade recognises the complex’s commitment to sustainable architecture and design. From meticulous site selection and planning to the use of environmentally friendly building materials and resources, the Chennai Trade Centre exemplifies a holistic approach to sustainability. The complex also excels in indoor environmental quality, water conservation, energy efficiency, innovation, and development.
