PROJECT IN FOCUS – Residence Melange
Location: Noida, India
Typology: Urban Housing Project
Design Concept: An innovative linear cluster system that seamlessly intertwines housing units with the central green acre.
What we Heart: Paved pathways leading to tower entrances that are thoughtfully flanked by semi-covered seating areas under elegant wooden pergolas, allowing residents to immerse themselves in the lush landscapes and verdant surroundings.
Spanning an impressive 26 acres of prime Noida real estate, Leisure Park offers homes for over 2,993 families distributed across 30 residential towers. It confronts the universal problem of urban overcrowding, striving to provide innovative solutions that address the contemporary needs of city dwellers.
The layout of the residential towers is consciously designed to foster social cohesion and recreational continuity. It was not merely about stacking buildings but connecting people and nurturing a community spirit. The design encourages linear circulation, providing access to the blocks from the outer periphery while linking the inner periphery to a lush, one-acre green space – a true ‘retreat’. The retreat – a serene oasis, features a meticulously designed club building with stepped terraces overlooking an amphitheater.
The central core is a masterstroke – fostering unhindered movement for the residents. It seamlessly interconnects the entire residential complex, creating a neighbourhood within a residential complex. Flanked by lush green pockets on either side of the towers, abundant natural light pours into every residence, ensuring comfortable ventilation and a delightful living experience. Spatial planning is a design ingenuity, with maximised pathways for circulation and strategically opening communal gathering areas. Each pathway is designed to avoid dead corners and is oriented to embrace soft natural light. This thoughtful arrangement elevates the mundane living experience to a community where residents thrive in open-spaced and interconnected living.
