PROJECT IN FOCUS – The Sanctum
Typology: Commercial
Location: Raipur, Chattisgarh
Design Concept: A blend of maximalism and sophisticated chic
Material Palette: Marble and wood
What we Heart: The synergy of two distinct design aesthetics
The Sanctum, the office of Creations and Urban Saints, embodies the design principles of the principal designers, showcasing a harmonious blend of intricate details. The Sanctum welcomes visitors with a serene and tranquil ambiance. The waiting area mirrors the overall aesthetic, providing a relaxing space for guests to unwind while enjoying the cityscape of Raipur. The office spans approximately 3500 square feet and comprises three primary chambers with welcoming reception areas. Additionally, there is a material library that doubles as a conference room for in-depth client discussions, a rejuvenation room, and the central design workshop.
Shilpi’s chamber exudes an atmosphere of opulence and admiration for a luxurious lifestyle. The remarkable design elements enable clients to delve into the maestro’s design aesthetics. The interplay of white calacatta marble with the overall sage green appearance, accented with hints of burgundy, elevates the visual appeal. Furthermore, her maximalist approach to styling adds an enchanting element to the space. Power, individuality, and tenacity have consistently been her strengths, and her chamber embodies these qualities.
In contrast, Satyadeep’s chamber emanates a distinct ambiance. Featuring multiple finishes, the room subtly incorporates shades of taupe and other neutral tones. The design philosophy underscores an appreciation for luxury in all materials. From the polished surfaces of marble and gray mirrors to the raw statuario marble crust over the Black Marquina, and the depiction of Zeus emerging from within, Satyadeep’s chamber truly reflects the essence of a creator. The innovative layering of design elements mirrors his core philosophy, allowing for the integration of diverse styles within a single architectural space.
